error 020 sql server

    Hello everyone

    I recieve periodically every 10 minutes this alert

    An unrecoverable error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will end (input error: 10054, output error: 0).

    on my instance I configured error 020 

    in errorlog a have this error "A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 10054, output error: 0)".

    Who has an idea what is this error exactly

    Hi,
    have you checked your windows performance counter for the network interface card (nic)
    If there was some kind of error, you should see something in the counters.
