I'm trying to switch the partition from the staging table to final table and I am receiving this error.
"'ALTER TABLE SWITCH' statement failed. The table 'DBM.dbo.T_FINAL' has 130 partitions while index 'IX_T_FINAL_ACCTKEY' has 53 partitions."
I don't have this issue with any other partitioned tables.
I've tried dropping and rebuilding the index, but the same error comes up.
Any ideas what is wrong? I'm stumped.
