Ending 2017

  • I get 2016-12-29 with the supposedly correct answer.

  • This question is one year late,  DBCC TIMEWARP() ??

  • One has to admire Steve's tenacity at getting questions slightly bent.:hehe:

Just because you're right doesn't mean everybody else is wrong.

  • Need to change date in query to 2018 to get what you required! But good question, thanks Steve.

  • The 2nd and 3rd answer are equal.
I'm curious to know why someone chooses the second answer instead of the third or vice versa.

Right.  So I figured neither of them were right, and now my choices were 2.  I got it wrong anyway.  I hate date arithmetic.

Except as noted above, the "right" answer gets the wrong date.

  • Question is correct...But answer is wrong...:) πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

You cannot get to the top by sitting on your bottom.

  • 2nd and 3rd options are same and 4th option returns 2016. None of the above should be an option....

  • crazy. Not sure what I was thinking there. Question changed, points awarded back

  • I got to it after it was changed.  I love date math.

Thanks for a good question and another good year of the site, Steve.

Sometimes it is good to be on PST and get the questions after corrections... Thanks, Steve!

  • Herp derp. I answered this thinking last day of the year since the topic was "ending the year" and i was not answering the question on the day that it was published. DOH
