Thank you Phil, I've been waiting for this to show up! I'm going to get my IT guys to let me try it out so I don't have to downgrade my VS to 2015 just for SSIS support

np. I tried installing it yesterday, only to get a weird 'hash match' error.
You'll need to make sure you have the latest VS2017 patches installed first, or the SSDT part will bomb out with an appropriate error (assuming you have VS2017 already installed).
I'll reboot & try again when I get a bit of time.

finally got mine installed, had to have IT uninstall and reload 2017 because I had version 15.2 and needed 15.3. Working now!
