read after write

  • what it means when we say "read-after-write" consistency ?
    in simple words please

  • If you write a piece of data, then read it at any time after the write completed, you get back the data that you wrote.

    okay....this is understandable now.

    with respect to this  .. what does it mean when we say "eventual consistency"  ?  in easy words please.
