IEXPORT DATA INTO TABLE FROM EXCEL SHEET IN SSIS

  • i have scenario where im exporting data from excel to destination.one of the  column in excel contains null values i want to export the column   values to destination table. if excel contains null values it should export to destination table.

    And what, exactly, are you using to perform this export?   SSIS?   Something you're doing in Excel?   We need a lot more detail.   You appear to be saying that you're trying to ensure that the NULL values are preserved in your export process, but I'm guessing that fails to occur in whatever process you're using.   If it's NOT taking place, then what does take place?    We can't know what you're doing from that little description.   You have to provide the details.

  • Unless you have some logic, if you have an Excel document where there are blank lines before the end of the document, then all of these lines will still be imported with NULL values. If you have a column within a row of values, that NULL will still be imported unless you have some kind of logic to state otherwise.

    As Steve said, we need more detail here. You don't explain what the problem is you are having, and give very little detail on your need.
