I'm wondering what the general recommendation/best practice is for Multiple Fact tables. It seems as though if I want to re-use dimension tables across fact tables, I would have to pull in additional copies of those dimension tables, so that I avoid the "ambiguous paths" error. This seems a little weird to me though. My vision was to pull in all of my facts into a single model, and then use perspectives to limit what the users look at. Is this common? And would that mean I'm unable to pull data from multiple fact tables if I wanted to analyze across a common dimension like time or customer? It seems my only other option would be to build multiple models or multiple projects, one for each fact.
