  Hello,

  Performed an ALTER on a view with newly added case statement. Next, copied SSAS Tab cube model as temp cube and added in that new column, did build and deploy as a temp cube name, test by connecting Excel and can see change, all is good.

  Investigated making similar change to that temp cube, in SSMS I can nav to that temp cube, expand tables, right click table in question, get the ability to create/replace table as.... can edit code with new column and F5, and change made to cube in hot fashion.

  Yet when I try to do this same right click on the regular production cube, right click on table in cube, option doesn't exist. Why? How can I edit the tables column code inside a in-memory cube? I'm trying not to have to run a build and deploy, as doing so I loose a lot of historical data.
