Deleting of an outer quote block deletes everything in it

  • Sometimes I want to reply to something nested inside a series of quote blocks. I can't seem to delete an outer quote block without also deleting what's inside the quote block.

    Is this deliberate?

I think so – I like the way it works now.

Why not hit reply on the specific post you want to reply to to avoid the later stuff you want to ignore?

  • You can also use the Quoted Text IF Code if you don't want to quote the whole post, although that doesn't insert the quotee's name and the time of the quoted post.

If you want to quote a couple of different posts, you can hit the + next to the quote button on each post.

And then click "Post Quoted reply", in the bottom right (which is only displayed after clicking the +'s). It'll insert the posts you selected to quote, in the order you clicked them, into your reply.

You end up with a post like this 🙂

Excuse my typos and sometimes awful grammar. My fingers work faster than my brain does.
