  Hi all, in the world of full time developers and contract workers is there any place for this?

  A report developer as a service? I'll try to explain.

  A company not looking for a full time on-site developer but doesn't want to pay £300 per day for 3 month's for a contractor. In steps REPORTS4YOU!! A report service where you pay £xxx upfront for a base set of reports to be developed and implemented, with the choice of monthly service (say 2 reports) to be developed when needed and support for existing reports at £xxx

  From the quick numbers I've ran this would work out more cost effective for the company X and REPORTS4YOU if got a few companies signed up would do alright too.

  What do you guys think?

  What would you need to set this up? (Access to customers SQL database etc)

  I'm sure there must be someone doing this out there already, if so any links?
