    Great question. Did not know SQL 2016 was going to support Hadoop or Azure Blob storage. Not that I'll ever use it...

    Sorry but the response of the Which server collations are supported in Polybase SQl Server 2016 in SQLServercental is wrong or they don't read MSDN. The correct answer is what I selected:

    Latin1_General_100_CI_AS_KS_WS

    In the future please investigate more thoroughly the correct answer to your QOD.

    Sorry guys and gals but I am really sad to find that so many wrong answers I am finding lately for the QOD (Question of the day). It would make me extremely happy if anyone before posting a QOD should thoroughly investigate what is the correct answer to their QOD. I have 25 years of experience and have all the wallpapers (MS Certifications) can be obtained in the SQL Server's field plus Bachelor of Computer Science Degree and I feel I know what I am talking about. I would never bother to post a QOD if I would not have the correct answer. Dear fellow members please take this to into your account before post a QOD in this site.

    So on this page in Books Online, it literally says:

    Important

    In the CTP 2.0 (and later) versions, only these server collations are supported: SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS (default US English collation) and Latin1_General_100_CI_AS_KS_WS.

    That's two collations. I checked those two, and the system told me I was right.

    Is it perhaps possible that you accidentally ticked only a single one of these collations? The way the SQL Server Central QotD works is that for a multi-answer question, you do not get partial points for a partially correct answer, you only get credit if you on a 100% match between your answer and the pre-sent "correct" answer. (Which, in this case, is indeed the correct answer).
