Hello,
In a nutshell, what I need to do is run reports that are on a 2008 R2 on a 2012 SP2.
Why? Because I need them to run without compatibily mode on, on internet explorer 11.
If the reports is done with report builder from 2012 the report works fine, the old ones don't.
I'm unsure why, the source is not the issue, because i've started a new report on the 2012 server with the same data source and it works fine.
I'm a bit lost, any help would be appreciated.

The reason is that the XML formats have changed between the two versions.
What you'll need to do, is make a copy of your 2008 project folder... (optional but advisable)
Open the 2008 project using VS 2012 or SSDT 2012... This will initiate a conversion process that will convert all of the 2008 files into the current format. (This is a one way trip and there's no converting back... Thus the recommendation to make a copy beforehand).
Once the conversion is complete, you should be good to go with 2012.
