I received a security policy for machine-2-machine logins that requires to restrict their access to database, only if
logon is from specified IPs, this feature exists on Oracle and has been implemented, please can you confirm that
SQL Server doesn't have this feature natively? I found custom solutions based on logon triggers, i'm looking for something based on product configuration.
Thank you

I imagine this means that this feature doesn't exist ......

Logon triggers or setting up a firewall will be the only ways to do what you need to do.

That's something I would expect to do in a firewall (either a software one on the machine restricting access, or a hardware one between the machine and the outside world). But it's more than a decade since I last did anything like that, so maybe some Sql features have arrived in teh meantime.
