This is more of a suggestion than issue with the website of which I'm pretty sure many others would benefit.
It would be a huge help if there was a simple field on the article pages indicating which SQL version(s) a given article applies to.
There have been many occasions where I’ve read one of your articles, which usually are very helpful/informative, but am confused on what SQL server versions they would apply to. If I have the time and am motivated, I’ll dig into the topic more to see if it applies to the version I’m on, but often that isn’t the case and I move on. With several SQL server versions in use at one time and notable changes/additions to functions/helpers from one to the next, it would serve the reader well. On ocassion the authors will specify the veriosn, but not often enough. I think there may be an assumption that everyone is on the latest version, or maybe it's an oversight, but two years later, it becomes even more unclear where it's applicable.

It's a good suggestion. Not so easy for us to always know as well, though most articles apply to multiple versions. I think it's the minority that aren't useful for specific versions.
I'll actually see if we can add tags for versioning to a user submitted field.

That would be great! Tagging seems like an ideal option. Thanks so much for the response.
