Afternoon all. This is something I've not tried before, and I'm not having much luck with it.
I have a report will a group header showing details such as name. I also have a detail line showing associated details. Using 'ShowDetails' Parameter I hide the visibility of the detail data on the report using the details row visibility expression option.
When I export to excel, the detail row is added to the output, but the line is blank.
How can I stop SSRS exporting the blank detail rows to excel? (i.e. if I choose not to show details, effective all I want exported to excel is the group header records.
Any help would be welcomed. thanks.
