SQL Performance issue

  Hi,

  We are using MS SQL 2000 database with 700+ tables and 300+ views and stored procedures. 120+ users are currently using this application. Database size is 8 GB. our server memory size is 8 GB (IBM Server). Issue is every transactions taking time to save/open. How to increase the performance.
