Reg: SQL Server 2005 Authentication

    Hi Friends.

    I installed SQL Server 2005 on my System.

    I tried to Login to the Server with the Credentials...

    Its asking Server name and the Error no ... is : 18456.

    Please do let me know the Solution ASAP..

    or else please do mail to lakshmanvepuri@gmail.com

    not a very descriptive post, but...

    try using "." as your server name, just a dot.

    and make sure SQL Services are running....
