INITCOLVS: The parameter ''nickname'' is invalid

    After creating a new database by restoring a backup, I am now getting the error message "INITCOLVS: The parameter 'nickname' is invalid".

    I have run the sp to remove replication, this increases the number of error message I receive as it highlights the sp_merge tables are missing from the DB.

    Would you be able to assist me in resolving this error?.

    Removing replication from the database using the sp_removereplication switch has cleared this error.

    Unfortunately I am now encountering the error message "Invalid column name 'rowguid'".

    Any ideas?
