After 3 years of working with Microsoft SQL Server and getting outstanding advice and help from SQLServerCentral.com, I have taken a new job where I will be using Oracle exclusively.
I want to thank everyone who helped me with questions over the past three years.
I have one last question for the group. For those of you who have worked with both Oracle and SQLServer, is there a group similar to this one for Oracle developers?
Thanks again

Don,
Best of luck with Oracle. It will surely be interesting and you'll learn quite a bit.
As to your question. I've had that one before and last year when I managed a group of Oracle of Oracle DBAs, they said they didn't know of one. They tended to use the Oracle User Group or Technical Network for questions.
Maybe you'll start one ![]()

I like the power of PL/SQL, much better than T-SQL most of the time. ![]()

http://www.orafaq.com might be a start. At least they have an active mailing list, that helped me getting started.
Good luck!

I think it's called "AA". They have this multi-step approach... (Coming from Sybase & MS background, Oracle was a pain for me)

Try: lazydba.com (great name), dba-village.com, technet.oracle.com, metalink.oracle.com (if you have the support agreement). There's lots more. I used metalink the most in the past. I'm going in the opposite direction (Oracle to SQL).
