SQL Server 2000 Transactional Replication can not drop publication

  Can not drop publication.

  I have transactional replication. This publication has no snap shot agent information on the distributor but it does have the log reader and distribution agent information.

  I have tried to drop this publication through EnterPrise Manager and SQL Query Analyzer stored procs ( sp_dropsubsciption and sp_publication ), no success.

   Any Ideas?

  Suspect that somebody has deleted the snapshot job and now trying to drop the publication doesn't work.

  Only option would be to disable the publisher and start again.
