admin but no access on data

    hi All,

     

    can you please guide me the scenario where i can do all DBA work on client side server without read access on Tables.

    what are the permissions needed to do the task ,like space mangament ,replication etc but no read access on DB.

    please guide me if it is possibel to become sys admin on box then perform all DBA activities without SA -SQL rights

    I don't believe you can do some of these without being able to read the data. You could grant some roles, like backup or security to someone without having them read data, but as far as replication or space management, I think you'd need read rights to the data if you had rights for those things.
