  Greetings,

  We run transactional replication and we keep history on the subscriber (we've changed the XCALLs to MCALLs). We are getting new hardware for the subscriber side server. We want to move the subscriber dbs to the new hardware and reestablish replication without taking a new snapshot. Does anyone know of a good cookbook of instructions for this process?

  BTW - the distribution db is on the same server as the subscriber dbs.

  If the server name is the same, then you can backup all your databases, and restore them in the new server.

  Check the expired subscription period, because you might need to increase it, to keep the publication active.
