SQL Replication Error

  I'm trying to configure replication in SQL Sever 2000 Enterprise Edition with SP3. Firstly, I right click 'Replication' folder and select 'configure Publishing, Subscriber, and distribution..' and proceed to click the 'Next' button until 'Finish'. Once I clicked 'Finish' button, Error 911: Could not locate entry in sysdatabases 'distribution'  straight forward pop out. What I realise is the distribution database cannot be created when doing the replication configuration. Even I'm using system adminstrator id to do the configuration, the error stil is same. pls comment.

  Do you have available space in the disk that you are trying to create the replication database.

  In the wizard it shows the path where the db wil be created.

  do you have login to sqlserver with windows user or sql user becuse this user must have perrmission on disk to creating and sharing snapshot folder ,

  i had have same problem and login to sqlserver in windows administrator groupe and problem solved
