Linked Servers with Distributed Transactions

    Hi,

    I am using Linked Servers to distribute transactions using Stored Procedures, everything runs fine on most machines, however on a few machines i get the error

    "Cannot start more transactions on this session".

    I think this must be a setup problem as it works on other machines,

    Is there something I can check or has anyone else had this problem?

    Check service 'MSDTC' is started in this machine.

    MSDTC is started. However this error is still occurring.

    any ideas?
