Restore to sql2000 from sql7 backup

  hi all

  we're restoring a sql7 backup.bak to a sql2000 db via the restore process.....

  any idea what may be causing the following?

  Server: Msg 3241, Level 16, State 15, Line 0

  The media family on device 'D:\pirate\PIRateTuesday.BAK' is incorrectly formed. SQL Server cannot process this media family.

  Server: Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 0

  Backup or restore operation terminating abnormally.
