DTS and Replication

    Hi,

    Has anyone used the DTS option to transform published data? (advanced replication option). Just wondering if there is anything to watch out for or be cautious with....

    Just a little bit. Doing any type of transform adds weight to the process and makes validation harder. Not that its a bad thing, just have to measure it!

    Do I create the DTS package first, define the mappings/transforms and then configure replication? Are there any DTS options I need to specify when saving the package? thanks.....
