I replaced my OLD SERVER(Windows 2000 small business server) with a new Server which also have the same OS.
I have a couple of DTS TAsk, when I try to run it from the new server it runs fast , but if I try running from one of the client by registering the server in Enterprise MAnger, it runs very very slow. Can anyone give be a resolution to this issue

My guess is that your problem is with the networking. When you run a DTS package from a client machine all of the data is pulled to that client machine from the source connection then pushed out to the target connection. If your server is the target, when you run the dts package on that server, the material is read into the server, then pushed to the target without crossing the network.
