Question on WordPress Preferences

  • I totally have biased motives in asking these questions, BTW. @=)

    What is your favorite theme(s)?

What are your favorite plugins (and why)?

And does anyone know of a plugin that adds IF Codes like the ones we use here on SSC?

  • I use WordPress.com at http://www.voiceofthedba.com

    1. Used the Titan theme from Theme Foundary. Didn't spend a lot of time looking around though. After seeing 5 or 10, my eyes start to blur.

    2. No plug ins for me, but I have some widgets. I use

    - a Twitter widget for trying to keep my stream near my blog.

    - a tag cloud - mostly so I can see what I write about

    - archive of old posts

What I'd love is a "these are the posts from a year ago" widget so I could see what was happening in the past.

    3. If you look at my blog, the code is formatted. I actually use LiveWriter with the VSPaste plug in to write posts and submit them.

  • 1. I'm using the 'zBench' theme. I wish I could find one that I could make do what I want and not look like everyone else. And of course, I have no time to develop my own.

    2. Same as Steve, I don't have many plugins. My fav is boring...just the ability to see my own twitter posts.

    3. I use the 'WP-Syntax' plugin for code formatting. Dunno if it has the functionality you're looking for though.
