A group in my company is seriously considering storing DB\Table\column info in sql extended properties (EP). I know that an EP is a sql_variant not larger than 7500 bytes but that's about all I can find. EPs do not support formatted text as far as I can tell (not RTF) and their handling of multi-line text is barely passable.
Are there any documents describing EP limites? (e.g. the max number of EP's a column can support).
