Hello friends for the above problem I got the solution. I have just repaired the SQL server 2005 and after that i am able to run the database engine server.

Hi try this.

Start->All Programs -> Microsoft Sql server 2005 -> Configuration Tools -> SQL Server Configuration Manager.

In the SQL SERVER configuration Manager Window, click the plus (+) sign against SQL SERVER 2005 Network Configuration.

Highlight 'Protocols for MS SQL SERVER'

In the right pane you'd find VIA in protocol name column , you can right click it select 'Disable'
