  Hi,

  I've restarted SQL Server service while some of the counters were running and I can no longer see the SQL Server ones.  This is and old bug and can be fixed by stopping the conters and restarting SQL Server again.  However this is not the best option for me. 

  Is there a possibility to manually start the counters without restarting SQL Server service?

  Don't think so. Everything I've seen asks for a restart.
