I have a dts package that is set up to send success and failure emails. The success one works just fine, but when there is a failure I am not getting the failure email. Any ideas on why this would happen?

Did you check your DTS properties. More than likely, the dts set to fail on first error. If you untick the option, it should follow thru

I just tried it on a test dts that was sending a failure. As soon as I unchecked that flag and ran the job, the step failed, but no failure email. I'll go back and uncheck fail on first error on my other dts jobs.

Does this happen when you schedule the DTS package as a job and when you execute it when you are in the designer?

This was happening when the dts package was scheduled as a job. I unchecked the fail on first error flag on Tuesday, but did not have any errors until this morning. I received the fail email notification. So that was the solution. Thanks for the help.
