You should be able to just right-click the package in EM and select "Schedule Package". That's how I've always done it. It will create the job for you and then you can edit the job if you want to do more.

Thanks for the reply. does it create a job under SQL Server agent -> jobs folder when we right click and schedule the package

BTW Pinky, you CAN use dtsrunui to get the DTSRUN command either encrypted or not. It's particularly useful if you're adding a package run step to an existing job.
