FULL-TEXT greyed out, but not on server itself

  SQL 2000 SP4 on Windows 2003 Server

  FT Indexing is fine on the EM console when directly on the server. No issues there.

  The issue is the FTI is greyed out on other EM sessions where they have been registered with the same account as when on the server directly.

  The server is not using the default port of 1433.

   

  Any suggestions

  You can't administer full-text from a client computer.  I've found that I have to connect directly to the server or through Terminal Services.
