  Hi ,

  i just built one sql-2005 Active-Passive cluster (win2k3 server x64 sp1), it currently contains only system databases and each node is having 31 GB memory and Awe is configured for 27 GB ,and pae switch already added in boot.ini.

  but the issue i am getting is on of the node average queue length is going more than 145 so crossing 100% ,not sure what is the issue since all the databases are on SAN drives not on local drives also active node does not have any issue ,any pointer will be much appretiated.

  you said only system dbs are there and at the same time all dbs are on SAN...

  Means you server contains only system dbs not any user dbs and all of the system dbs are on SAN...is this correct?

  In this case check with your SAN guys to check SAN queues using SAN utilities...

  Are you copying any files to SAN drive or allocating space for any databases...
