Email whenever anyone replies to this topic

  • I tick this box each time I post (including this one) but I have not received any emails for 2-3 days. I receive the newsletter and any emails for forum subscriptions. I have updated my profile every day but to no avail.

Far away is close at hand in the images of elsewhere.
    Anon.

  • I hate to say it with Michael Jackson, but 'You are not alone'.

It seems like a pingpong game. For some hours I do receive mails, then again not a single one.

Btw, I don't check this option. I rely on the subscription settings.

  • Same with me.

It will be better if default of this option is set to true.

In other forums defult is set.

  • My subscription has not been working ever since I changed my email address

  • FYI, On my end, the subscriptions seem to work for a little while just after I un-subscribe, then re-subscribe.

Like david, I also check the "notify by email" checkbox on my posts. My 2 cents: the default should be whatever the value was the last time I posted.

Seems this site gets A LOT more traffic (posts) when the subscriptions and notifications thru email are working.

Once you understand the BITs, all the pieces come together

  • Im knee deep in the conversion to our new system. Hang in there a bit longer. Lots of odds and ends to track down. It does support email notifications as well.
