Uninstall Problems

    Hello Again,

    I have another problem uninstalling SQL Server 7.0 from a WIN2K SP2 machine. I am unable to uninstall because of the mssearch.exe is being used by another operation. I tried to stop the process from the Task Manager but it says that access is denied. What do I do? How do I get rid of this? Any help you can offer would be great.

    I actually ran into this problem today. There is a service called Microsoft Search, stop that and the process will stop.

    OK, thanks. I killed the process using the kill.exe program.
