DTS package and scheduling

    Here's my problem...

    I have a DTS package that uses data from an AS400 to create a delimited text file. It works fine when I run the individual package but when I schedule it as a job and try to run it, either by the actual scheduled time or manually starting the job, it says 'Executing...' and seems like it just hangs without doing anything. Nothing is in the error logs. I've gotten other scheduled jobs to run like they are suppose to just not these DTS packages. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Try the Data Warehousing forum/DTS subject. There is a post called "DTS works but schedule job don't" This has lot of replies from people having the same problem : DTS package works fine until you try to schedule it as a job. Give it a try.
