    I'm surprised that JIRA still does not allow more than one person to be assigned a ticket.  Where I work we frequently pair up to work on a ticket.

    I'm finding that some tools do allow collaboration but its not obvious until you are shown how to do it.

    I've found that for any change people fall into four groups.

    • Change is fantastic
    • Change is probably good, show me how
    • Change is probably bad, prove that it isn't
    • Change is awful

    There's nothing you can do about the "Change is awful" brigade but with proper planning and preparation you can help the "Change is probably...." crowd adopt a tool intended to help collaboration.
