I found the readability tools in the article editor for this site useful, so my prompt is;
Suggest edits to my document to improve the Flesch reading score with a minimum target of 55.
Use active voice where possible.
Check for grammar and punctuation.
Suggest improvements to this prompt
The last line is one I use in many of my prompts.

Those are good hints to use.

And speaking of articles........ anything new on your mind? Maybe an opinion piece/editorial?

I recently took a series of Tableau TDS files and extracted their metadata in a form similar to INFORMATION_SCHEMA. This revealed what the schema, table and attributes were in the source DB and what the equivalents were as used in Tableau. I'd inherited a Tableau installation with a large Kimball data model so needed to be able to assess the impact of change.
We use SQLFluff for linting SQL scripts, both native and DBT. I'm also seeing if SQRuff can be used though DBT support is not 100% there yet.
If those are of interest I'll try that.
I've also had some success getting Claude to take a exported Matillion project (containing 725+ ETL graphs) and generating documentation. A couple of us are validating the output. If the output is good I could write the work up.
I've been experimenting with Snowflake Dynamic tables. These are like what you'd hoped materialised views could do but we're disappointed to find out materialised view limitations.

All stuff you'd likely not have time to do without an AI assistant, right?
Amazing where you can go using a helper.
