Connecting to sql server from a MAC with Windows AD authentication

    Hi There!
    Does anyone have information regarding connecting to sql server from a MAC with Windows AD authentication? I am trying to help some users asking, but not having a mac myself it is making it a bit difficult. I have read a little bit about the kinit utility on the mac os, but so far have not found the answer. Is there some workaround anyone is aware of? Is Windows VM only answer?

    Hi,
    what are you going to reach with this connection.
    Do you like  to do some  t-sql scripting?
    There is a visual studio for mac available, sorry, but I find this page only on german language:

    Or do you like to connect from an application to the sql server?
