I have server and i will have 385 gb memmory and only SQL SERVER R2 is running
What is the best max and min memmory config default or set another values.

385 GB of memory? That's a huge server.
Have a look at chapter 4 of this book, it discusses memory and gives some rough suggestions and reasons for the settings for max server memory. Min is usually left at 0 (there are cases you'll want something higher)

It's one of those new ones with 3x128GB and 1x1GB RAM chips installed :laugh:

Either that was a mistype or it's one of the weirdest virtual server configs I've seen. That said, an ex-client had a production server with 15 GB memory. Yes, 15. I have no idea what chips were in it (it was a physical server), and I'm not really sure I want to know.
