DTS Package(Sql 2000) : Can I have source as SQL 2000 Datababse and Destionation as SQL 2005 Database

    Hi all,

    I've a DTS package which copies the data from QA to Production database.

    The production database is now upgraded to Sql 2005. Can I use my DTS packages just by changing the name of my destination server from sql 2000 database to sql 2005 database?.

    I've my source still server running on sql 2000 database!!.

    Yes, just change the destination to 2005.

    Yes. Sometimes the connection managers may be a bit finicky so you may need to try a few of them.
