Linked Server Problem

  Hi,

  We have a linked server configured on SQL Server 2005. Security setting of the connection to the linked server is "Be made using the login's current security context".

  Several times a day the linked server failed with the following error:

  OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "FACILITY" returned message "[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed".

  OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "FACILITY" returned message "[Honeywell][ODBC Driver][ISAM]User or password not authenticated".

  If we stop and start SQL Server, a problem goes away for a while ( I would like to emphasize that we do not make any changes in the linked server configuration)

  I would appreciate any advise that could help us fix this problem.

  Don't know the whole thing, but I can throw in a hint fo a further search: kerberos tickets expiry?
