hi to all,
i have read bol with regards log shipping, and i was able to go to the last configuration step. when i click finish, the backup job was successful, but an error message appeared saying "unable to copy initialization file to dest_server". What could be the possible error?
both servers are registered under SQL server group...on both server registration, im using an sql accoun "sa"
and established linked server too...can anybody point out what i missed?
any replies would be of great help^^

1) Share the folder to which backups are copied.
2) SQL Server Agent service account should be a domain account, not local account.
3) Grant read, write and delete permissions to this account to the share.
