So I have a SQL Installation and it has SSIS along with a repository of SSIS Packages.
I have pretty much stuck to the data platform but a requirement has arisen to move all SSIS functionality from one SQL Server to another.
What would be the correct approach, Just looking for some advice rather than a hyperlink to an article if possible.

Is this SSIS repository the Integration Services Catalog? If not - how are the packages actually stored - in the MSDB database, SSIS package store, file system?
If you are using the catalog - then you should be able to backup/restore SSISDB (you will need to find the instructions - as it will require more). There are powershell scripts available to export/import from the catalog - I would at least use the export feature to create the ispac file and load that to data tools. Then I would deploy to the new server after making appropriate changes (upgrade, data sources, etc...).
