Hello..
We have an existing snapshot publication on the 2008r2 SP2 box and found that as long as the subscription is created using SSMS v16 or above, replication will work. And it did, the snapshot was applied to the subscriber. When I configured this, I configured it as a push subscription; publisher pushes to subscriber.
During the subscription creation process, I configured the job to run weekly, every monday through friday at 5am and I told the system to initialize the subscription at the next snapshot. It was during the day and creating a new snapshot would have locked the database; not good for daily operations.
After finishing the configuration process, noticed that the subscription push job isn't listed on neither the publisher nor the subscriber. I thought maybe after the first run, the job would be shown but it isn't.
As I said, the snapshot was applied to the subscriber, but there isn't a job for the push listed on any server.
Any ideas on where this is listed and how I can make changes to the job?
Thank you for your time and attention..

DOH! Never mind. The job is now being listed in the Jobs listing. Not sure why it hadn't prior.
