Hi List,
I am facing a strange problem with some of my SQL Server 2000 databases. Am hoping someone can help me out
I am not able to change permissions (revoke) for the public role in some of my SQL Server databases.
I tried doing the same using the Enterprise Manager and thru the REVOKE SQL statement. Both seem to work upfront but upon checking the permissions I find that the change has not taken place.
This is happening only for the Public role. Permission changes to other custom roles go through fine. This problem happens on some of my databases. I have couple of databases under the same instance that do not have the problem
Has anyone seen anything like this. If so how can you resolve it
Thanks in advance
My platform - SQL Server 2000 SP3a, Windows 2000 Server SP4

Which databases, system (master, msdb, tempdb) or user? Also, if the objects aren't user objects, which ones?
