Is anyone out there using SCOM 2016 for monitoring Reporting Services 2016? We are getting an error (name and port no. obfuscated) that I'm totally stumped with.
Unable to get FQDN for host 'SSRS_XX_AG,12345'. Attempt log:
1. Unable to get FQDN via DNS for host 'SSRS_XX_AG,12345': No such host is known
SSRS_XX_AG is our SSRS availability group.
SCOM seems to be looking for the AG name and port number rather than just the AG Name (which it would find in AD).
Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know of any resolution to the problem?
