SQL Server 2014 - Principal.Synchronized databases are not all on primary server...

  • There are over 30 databases hosted in a clustered environment. The primary server lists 9 databases out of the 30 as "mirror, synchronized/restoring" when they should list as "principal/synchronized." Sometimes it's three databases, today it's 8. I can manually fail them over, but want to identify the root-cause.Has anyone experienced this?

  • can you supply more info on the environment please, not enough to work with here?

  • Sure not a problem. What information were you looking for specifically?

  • how many nodes in the cluster?

    mirroring or AO groups?

    etc etc

Throw a dog a bone here
